ID Clinic Programs

The IV Antibiotics Center (IVAC) oversees antibiotic treatments for patients that begin in the hospital and need to continue after patients are discharged. Services include self-administration in the home setting, coordinating visits to the ZSFG Infusion Center for daily antibiotics, lab monitoring, overseeing completion of therapy, and to serve as a resource for those undergoing antibiotic treatment. To learn more about this program, please contact the Infectious Diseases Clinic at the number above.

The ID Clinic Plaza is a rapid test-to-treat program for remdesivir administration to outpatients with COVID who cannot take standard therapies.

Established in July 2022 in response to rising cases of mpox in San Francisco, the ID mpox Clinic provides evaluation, treatment, and follow up for those experiencing mpox infections or symptoms.

Established in 2024, ID Clinic helps patients with uncomplicated skin and soft tissue infections receive single dose long-acting antibiotic treatments and conducts follow up visits to ensure cure.
