Meg Newman Teaching and Clinical Excellence Award
Established in 2006, the highly prestigious Meg Newman Teaching and Clinical Excellence Award honors Division faculty who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to HIV education and outstanding clinical care.

Dr. Meg Newman, Senate Emeritus at UCSF, is the co-chair of the UCSF Medical Management of AIDS and Key Infections annual course. A general internist, Dr. Newman has built a long and distinguished career dedicated to advancing HIV education and compassionate patient care.
Widely recognized for her exceptional teaching and mentorship, Dr. Newman serves as a powerful inspiration to the UCSF HIV community and HIV educators worldwide.
