At the end of this talk, you will be able to:

  • Identify the strengths and limitations of routine testing and vaccination as key public health tools for control of COVID-19.    
  • Develop a framework for rational SARS-CoV-2 testing in various clinical and public health scenarios.    
  • Recognize the tradeoffs for vaccine allocation to different risk groups to reduce transmission and deaths from COVID-19.     
  • Examine health disparities from COVID-19 and related vaccine-preventable infectious diseases in vulnerable populations in the United States.
