Fellowships
UCSF’s Division of HIV, ID and Global Medicine is proud to educate and train world-class researchers, clinicians and educations to lead the fight against infectious diseases in San Francisco and worldwide. We are committed to educating fellow HIV and infectious diseases clinicians, junior faculty, postdoctoral scholars, residents, students, patients and the community.
We host a one-year HIV Clinical Fellowship program for internists committed to providing HIV care to underserved populations, as well as a one-year Primary Care Addiction Medicine Fellowship program for primary care physicians committed to caring for persons from urban, low-income, and stigmatized populations along the spectrum of unhealthy substance use and addiction. In addition, we are a primary training site for clinical care and research for the UCSF Division of Infectious Diseases Adult Infectious Diseases Fellowship program.
